Matt was born in Sugar grove nc on December 27, 1972. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. Funeral services Thomas Matthew "Matt" Klutz will be conducted Saturday morning, October 11, 2014, at 10:00 o'clock, at First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 9:00 until 10:00 o'clock. Officiating will be Pastor Rusty Gunther, Reverend Duey Whitfield, and Mike Harrigan. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock, at First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock. At other times, friends may call on Shelly and her family at the home of her parents, Jerry and Harriett Edmisten, 171 John T. Drive, Sugar Grove, or at the home of Matt's parents, Tommy and Ruthelen Klutz, 386 Ransom Street, Blowing Rock.
